Valentine One

Pairing and using a Valentine One Gen2 with SpectreNav: arrows and bogey counter, bands and photo radar, custom sweeps, auto mode by speed, voltage and temperature.

Updated October 31, 2026

What you get#

  • The V1's arrows and bogey counter on the signal card, with strength on its 0 to 6 scale.
  • Every band and photo-radar setting on the Detector page, custom sweeps, and mode switching.
  • Health: auto mode by speed, the car's voltage and the detector's temperature.
  • Because the V1 does not restart on a settings change, it is the one detector the app will write to automatically: automations and auto mode by speed are applied live.

Pair#

Power on the V1 Gen2; Bluetooth is on by default and it shows up as a name starting with V1. Menu → Detector → Devices → Pair a detector → Valentine One. See Pair a detector.

Detector page#

Page Settings
Sound & display Volume, with a refresh for the detector's current levels
Bands X, K, Ka, laser and Ku
Photo radar MRCD, MRCT, Gatso and more
Detector settings Mode (All Bogeys, Logic, Advanced Logic), sensitivity, display
Custom sweeps Ka sweep ranges
Health Auto mode by speed, voltage, temperature

Auto mode by speed#

Under Alert filtering → Detector mode, Switch mode by speed moves between All Bogeys, Logic and Advanced Logic as your speed crosses a threshold, with a few mph of slack. The Health page shows which mode the app has set.

Mute#

Mute from the signal card, a button, a voice command or the V1's own mute button; the card follows the detector.

Troubleshooting#

See Supported detectors. A V1 that connects but shows no signals needs a Disconnect and Connect from Devices.
