Encounter detail
One alert in full: the trace on the map, every emitter heard, charts and readings, classification, and the dashcam footage from that moment.
Tap an entry in Detection history, or a row in the last 15 minutes, to open its encounter.

Summary#
The title is the bands heard and the time. The card under the map gives the top source, Peak strength on the detector's scale, Date, Duration, Heard from (the direction), Frequency or, for laser, the Laser gun, Top speed and the Place.
The trace#
The map shows where the alert started, peaked and ended along your path, with a pin per emitter. Expand the map for detail.
What we heard#
An encounter is grouped into emitters: frequencies that rose and fell together are treated as one source. Each emitter row names it, shows its peak, how long it was up and its direction, and its classification. Tap one to focus the charts and readings on it. About these labels explains the terms.
Classify#
Each emitter starts Unclassified. Tap Classify and choose:
- Police: a real radar source. Never muted, and it feeds the learned police hotspots.
- Camera: a stationary camera or other fixed emitter.
- False: a false alert. The app learns a fingerprint and mutes that signal at that place from then on.
- Unknown: leave it for later.
An emitter the app already recognises carries a Learned badge with what it learned.
Charts and readings#
Strength over time per emitter, the frequency track and the raw readings, so a suspect signal can be checked against a known one.
Next steps#
- Report the spot as a camera or speed trap.
- Video review: when a dashcam is paired and has the footage, the clip from that moment opens here. With no camera it reads "Camera not connected" and offers the Dashcam page.
- Reassign an emitter to another encounter or delete it when the grouping is wrong.
